Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival 5K and 1K Kids Fun Run 2024

Short review

Place: Wakarusa’s Memorial Park is behind Wakaursa Elementary School.

Address: 400 N Washington St, Wakarusa, IN 46573
Time: 7:30 Am for the 1K and 8AM for the 5K 

1k kids fun run starts at 7:30 and  5k at 8 AM. Whether you are a long time competitive runner or a beginner you are welcome!! After you run or walk, plan time with family or friends in the small town shops and all Maple Syrup Festival has to offer!

January 1st, 2021 from 12:01 to 11:59 Only $15.00 for 5K and only $5.00 for 1K kids fun run.

January 2, 2021 to February 28, 2021 and pay only $20 for 5k and $10.00 for 1k kids fun run. .

March 1st till race day the cost increases to $25 for the 5K and $12.00 for the 1k kids fun run.

Online registration end on April 23, 2022 at 8 AM 

No Refunds!! 

All registrations received before April 9th is  guaranteed a race t-shirt!

There are Maple Syrup Awards 3 overall and top 3 male and female overall

The 1k { 0.62 miles} kids fun run is a none competitive run and will not be chipped time. Kids will receive a maple treat after finishing 

 Awards grouping for 5K:
The 1st place male & female runners will receive Maple Syrup 5K only. 
Male: 12 – under, 13 -15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 +
Female: 12 - under, 13 -15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 +

Awards will be given out soon after the last person crosses the finish line 

Parking is available at Northwood Middle School  and Wakarusa Elementary School (400 N Washington St, Wakarusa, IN 46573)
