VBT's Tutus & Tennis Shoes- Run, Walk, Ride, Paddle 2021

Short review

The Tutus & Tennis Shoes- Run, Walk, Ride, Paddle is a fundraiser for the Victoria Ballet Theatre. Proceeds from this event will be used to involve and enrich Victoria and surrounding communities with outstanding performances of dance and innovative educational opportunities.

Runners (or walkers, riders, and paddlers) of all experience are invited to participate.  This will be a FUN event for everyone! Kids are welcome to participate!!

The Tutus & Tennis Shoes run will be chip-timed for those who like to know their time (5K); however, if you’d rather not know your time, you don’t have to follow the results.

The route will take you around beautiful Riverside Park in Victoria, Texas. The roads around the park will be blocked for the safety of the participants.
At the completion of the race, there will be a celebratory brunch at the beautiful Pump House Restaurant.

Victoria Ballet Theatre board members, dancers, parents, and volunteers will be along the route to guide the runners, cheer them on, and hand out water at water stations.  We are hoping to have a safe, fun event for all of our participants!

Medals for the top three male and top three female 5K finishers in each age bracket will be awarded!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Early Registration (until April 30): $25
Registration (May 1 - May 24): $30
Late Registration (May 25-June 1): $35
Race Day Registration: $40 (cash ONLY) No shirt/ swag bag 
Kids 12 & under $15 

The t-Shirt cutoff will be May 24, 2021. Please register BEFORE this date in order to receive a race t-shirt!

10 K Bike @ 8 am

Kids Race @ 8:30 am 

1K/ 5K @ 8:30 am

Kayak @ 8:30 am

PACKET PICK UP:
Packet pick up will be the evening before the race, Friday, June 4, 2021, at
Busby Dancenter located at 2508 E. Mockingbird in Victoria, TX from 5-7 pm.
We will set up the packet pick-up in the parking lot in a drive-thru fashion at your convenience.
Packet pick-up on race day will be at Riverside Stadium Parking Lot from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

For our out-of-town runners wishing to spend the night our host hotel is Hilton Homewood Suites.
