Short review

Race Update on 3/23/25: 

Thank you for the overwhelming response to our race! Due to the amount of sign ups exceeding our expectations, only the first 250 people who sign up are guaranteed a FREE t-shirt, swag bag, and food/drink ticket. 

If your bib number is over #250, you will still receive a food/drink ticket, but you will NOT receive a swag bag due to a limited quantity. T-shirts will be available as long as supplies last, but size is NOT guaranteed. 

Registration will remain open until Friday March 28th at 11:59pm.  There is no same day registration option. We still strongly encourage you to sign up and support this amazing cause! 

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine is excited for another year of the Hoof N Woof 5k! The race will start at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, right outside the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine building on Fitch Avenue on the St. Paul campus. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, and leashed pets are more than welcome! We hope you'll hang around after to visit booths from our wonderful sponsors and local pet businesses. Be sure to stay for our award ceremony that will take place for the runners and their furry companions as well. Parking is available in the Gortner Avenue Parking Garage.

Registration for the race is $30. Packet pick-up will start at 8:15am on race day, Saturday, April 5th. Registration closes at 11:59pm on Friday, March 28th. 

This year’s Hoof N Woof 5k benefits Ruff Start Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of animals in need. The goal is to improve animal welfare in communities through adoption, education, and providing resources for people and pets. Their vision statement is simple: We strive for a world where every companion animal has a safe and loving home and their family has the knowledge and resources needed to give them the life they deserve.
