Tritt Trot 5k 2021

Short review

Are you ready to race again? Well so are we!  We are excited to introduce to you the  "Tritt Trot 5K". In these crazy times you have seen many virtual races but this 5K is NOT your typical virtual race ... This is VIRTUALLY REAL!!  Each participant will run the SAME course any date between March 27th and April 11th 2021 and will be timed using RaceJoy. All proceeds go to support Tritt Elementary PE department. Both Tritt Elementary and each of the students of Tritt appreciate your support and challenge you to run !! 

To make this a VIRTUALLY REAL road run we will be using the RaceJoy application that can be easily downloaded for free on your smartphone. RaceJoy will submit your run directly to our results page. Using our timing app that will submit true elapsed times through RaceJoy will allow us to have official run results with Overall and Age Group winners. Participants can run and submit results as many times as they want between March 27th and April 11th. This will allow participants to improve so that their best time will count toward the final results.

The 5k course will start just inside Chimney Springs at the intersection of Country LN and Chimney springs dr ( just across Post Oak Tritt from Tritt Elementary). The route will head down Chimney Springs Dr. and make a right turn on to Revere cir. The course follows Revere cir back around to Chimney Springs Dr. taking a right on Chimney Springs Dr.  You will make a left turn on to Hunting Hound Ln followed by a left turn on to Fox Hound Pkwy. You will take a right run on to Smoke Rise Ln followed by a left turn on to Chimney Springs Dr. where you will take your next left onto Hearthstone cir.  You be close to the finish when you take your last left turn on Chimney Springs Dr. and you will sprint to the finish (The start and finish are located at the same point). This virtually real race will give you the opportunity to race the familiar Tritt Trott course that you have ran in the past to see how you stack up against others on the live leader board. Using the RaceJoy app each turn will have an audible turn notification for each turn and will audibly cheer for you along the way !!  You can even add other runners to your list and the RaceJoy will let you know when they are running so you can send cheers to them as they try for a PR !!
