Join us in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Tortoise and the Hare 10K!! This year, the annual community event is scheduled for Friday night September 17th to kick off the 2021 Salisbury Days!!! The event continues to fundraise for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation. In addition to the 10K, with the newly developed trail system, we are able to offer a 5K run this year. The 10K Run course has been revamped and will be a brand new course this year that will take place all within the trail system.
Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: Opens at 5PM am at the Hilton Senior Center (43 Lafayette Road). There will be no early packet pickup unless otherwise noted.

Youth Under 15 – $20 (no price increase)
1 Mile Kids Run (12 and under): $15 (no price increase)
Team Category: Own a business? Part of a running club? This is an easy and fun way to recruit your friends. Teams must consist of at least 2+ people. Prizes will be awarded for the largest & fastest team.
Courses: 5K and 10K all within the Salisbury Trail System
Kids Fun Run: This 1 Mile Kids Fun Run will kick off at 6PM and is recommended for those 12 and under. This category doesn’t include a race t-shirt. If your child is under 12 and wishes to participate in the 10K and the 1-mile Kids Run please sign he/she in the Youth Under 15 category so he/she will receive an official race time in the 5K or 10K and a race shirt.
Swag: Dry fit, super soft custom t-shirt, guaranteed to all runners and walkers who sign up by 9/1.

Top Overall Male and Female Hare – $50 Cash Prizes
Top Male and Female Hare in each of the following age groups: youth under 15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Top Male and Female Tortoise
Largest Team
Fastest Team – (Cumulative time for the top 2 runners, gender is irrelevant)
Post Race Festivities: Bring your folding chairs and plan to make an evening out of it!! Entertainment provided by Evolvement Music, beer sponsored by Enjoy Your Life & Riverwalk Brewing, Hotdogs and Hamburgers, and other food options will be available. (cash/card for food vendors)
Parking: DPW and Hilton Senior Center, 39/43 Lafayette Rd., Salisbury, MA
Beneficiary: 100% of the net proceeds will be allocated to the Salisbury Parks and Recreation for the continued development of Partridge Brook Park.
