The World Needs You Here Walk 2024

Please join us for our 3rd Annual "The World Needs You Here" 3 Mile Walk to be held on the Salem Common in Salem, MA sponsored by Mental Makeover! Not only do we want to honor and grieve for the people we've lost, we also want our community to know that even if they are struggling with their mental health or are feeling down, we care about them and want them to know that the world needs them here. This year we've also added a free, all inclusive 1/2 mile walk/roll within the Salem Common sponsored by befree in partnership with the Jauron Family Foundation to promote inclusion for all abilities.

$35 through 7/23
$40 Walk Week 
$50 on Walk Day ***Youth 15 & Under – $25, Event Day $25

befree Path to Inclusion Walk: This free ½ mile walk sponsored by the Jauron Family Foundation will take place around the inside of the perimeter of the Salem Common in conjunction with the 3-mile walk, both starting at 10am. This walk/roll aims to ensure that everyone, regardless of physical or developmental ability, feels included and supported in our event. There is an option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt during registration.

Swag: Super soft, commemorative unisex t-shirts, guaranteed to the first 250 participants.

Packet Pickup/Event Day Reg: Opens on race day at 8:45AM at the Salem Common.

Walk Festivities: Entertainment will be provided pre & post event. A slew of community sponsors and vendors will be setup on site, kids games and an assortment of food/drink will be provided for participants. 

Parking: There is ample parking around the Common, just be mindful of permit only parking areas.
