Short review

A virtual 5K and 10K Snowshoe Race/Run/Walk

Race Perks: Registration includes a custom designed, wicking Borah neck
gaiter (not included in the Kid's Kilo), a finishers medallion, commemorative bib,
finisher’s certificate, a $5.00coupon for the 2022 Flurry, a $5.00 gift certificate to Lola’s Lunchbox,
and an entry into a drawing for great door prizes including at least one pair of
snowshoes! We will pack-up all finisher’s packets and door prizes on Sunday,
January 24th and plan to mail them the following day.

Teams: Create a team with your friends, family, co-workers or complete
strangers! Teams need at least five (5) members and a fun name (please
keep it clean).  In addition to a discounted entry fee and bragging rights, all
team members will be entered into a second drawing for another pair of
snowshoes! Register in either the Adult division or High School division.
To register, use the "Group/Teams" tab at the top of the screen.

Course/Location: Registered participants can virtually snowshoe a 5k or 10k
on a course of their choosing! Be creative – we’d love to see where you
decide to race. A special award will be given to the Flurry finisher who
completes their virtual race the furthest away from Phillips, WI. Recruit your
friends from across the country and the globe!

EXTRA DRAWING! While we aren’t able to race together, we still would love
to see you complete your “race” on the Phillips School Forest trails! By
January 1 st , we will have a NEW 5k course well marked on the single-track
trails for you.   Please do not race the original course, as it is School Forest
policy that no snowshoes, hiking or fat biking is allowed on groomed ski trails.
After completing your event at the Phillips School Forest (either on our new 5k
course OR your own route), snap a photo of yourself in front of the kiosk in the
parking lot and post it on the Phillips Flurry Facebook page! All contestants
will be entered in a special drawing and five lucky winners will receive $20.00
in Phillips Chamber Bucks, good at most businesses in the Phillips area.

To get to the Phillips School Forest trails from Hwy 13, go East on County
Hwy H for 3 ½ miles; turn South on Big Elk Road for ½ mile; when the road
splits, stay right on Worcester Road to entrance drive.

Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships:  Although this will not be a
timed event, participants can take pride knowing they are part of the
Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships.

Proceeds from the Phillips Flurry help the Price Area Trail Hub, Inc.
(PATH), a newly formed 501(c)(3) organization to promote, develop and
maintain silent sport trails and activities in Price County.
