The Amazing Shana Virtual 5k 2019

Short review

Please join us in remembering Shana by taking part in The Amazing Shana 5k.  

Make your own “Amazing Race” by running, jogging, or walking a 5k on your own or with a group at a location of your choice.  Once you reach your "finish line," post a picture on social media with the hashtag #shanastrong.  

Since there is no overhead in a virtual race, with your registration fee, you are making a contribution to the Shana Marra Scholarship to benefit a South Colonie college bound senior pursuing studies in special education.

If you need the real race feel, some of us are meeting casually on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 am. We will park at the back of Sand Creek Middle School near the sports fields.   This will be an informal, casual event (the course won't be marked or timed) and we'll follow the outer perimeter loop at The CROSSINGS that Shana liked to run (approximately 4 miles). If you want less distance, there are many ways to shorten the course.

Join us to remember our dear, amazing Shana and raise money to help a pre-service teacher achieve their goals. It would mean so much to us.
