Tatur's Summer Midnight Series 2020

Join us for the 3rd Annual Tatur's Summer Midnight Race Series.  A group of races taking place over 3 nights on the paved trails along the beautiful riverside in Tulsa Oklahoma, all beginning at 11:59pm.   Escape the hot summer sun by starting your run at midnight!   

Midnight Madness - July 3rd. 11:59pm Because of the 4th of July Holiday, we're changing things up this year and starting the race on Friday night.  Chose from 3 different distances 50, 20, and 10 mile runs  With a generous cutoff of 15 hours, this is a great event for both experienced ultra runners and for those looking to complete their 1st 50 miler with great aid stations and plenty of support.   This race begins and ends at the 41st st Plaza on Riverside.  The out and back course gives you plenty of opportunity to cheer on fellow runners.  The 50 mile will consist of 3 out and backs.  The 10 mile consist of an out and back, turning around at 5 miles and the 20 mile will do this 2 times.   The turnaround point for the 10 and 20 mile distances get to run down a steep 1/4 mile descent and get a little more distance to flatten out before turning around and tackling the 1/4 mile ascent. 

Midnight Mayhem Half Marathon July 18th.  11:59pm. This USATF certified course begins and ends at the lower parking lot at the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area.  Hit the Pavement and see the west side trail like you've never seen it before, and as you approach the turnaround on Route 66, you will be treated to a great view of the city skyline at night.    There is a possibility of some trail construction again this year, so this course is subject to change, but we will make sure any course we use is USATF certified.

Midnight Mania 5K August 8th. 11:59 pm. This race also begins and ends at the lower parking lot at the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area.  Start off on a nice long descent down the pavement as you head across the river before turning around and having to climb back up towards the finish.  This is not a flat 5k but it is a fun course!  

Runners who complete all 3 races in the series, will receive a special award.  

Registration for each race in the series includes a stylish soft cotton T-shirt that you'll be proud to show off, custom bibs and glow in the dark finishers medals. Those who are up for the challenge of the 50 mile distance will also receive a trucker hat with the Midnight Madness logo included with your registration.   Extra hats will be available for sale on race day for $20 while supplies last.  Packet Pickup for all races will be on race day only.   

Each race will have awards in standard age group categories.
