Short review
The 5th annual spring half marathon plus 5k starts and finishes in downtown Tulsa. The half marathon includes several miles along the banks of the beautiful Arkansas River. For the first time in the history of this event, it will not be part of the annual 4 Seasons Challenge Series. No need to wait for that series to register! The plans for the 2022 4 Seasons Challenge will be revealed in December, after Rudolph Run.
Each year the finisher medal for the T-Town Half will feature iconic downtown Tulsa architecture.
The first medal for the 2018 event was the top of the 1930's era Blue Dome building.
The 2019 medal featured the top of the iconic art deco Philtower Building.
The 2020 medal featured the Boston Avenue Methodist Church.
The 2021 medal featured Mid-Continent Tower.
The 2022 medal will feature the Warhouse Market Building.
The Warehouse Market was built in 1929 as the Public Market. It housed the Warehouse Market from 1938 until the 1970s. It remained vacant until the mid-1990s when Home Depot bought the building. There were plans to demolish the building and build a new one. After much public outcry, the building's façade was saved and adapted for a small strip mall in front of the new Home Depot store.
The 5k is completely contested on downtown Tulsa streets, while the half marathon will be a mix of downtown streets and paved Riverparks Trail.
All entrants will receive a tech shirt as well as a great finisher medal that features the Warehouse Market building. Post race food and beer for those 21 and over will also be available.
