Superhero Showdown 2021

Short review

Due to the guidelines and recommendations announced in regards to COVID-19 in Anchorage, we will be changing the 2020 Superhero Showdown to a Virtual Run! 

Our team is dedicated to the health and well being of our community, and that is why we have changed the event from being a large social gathering to a Virtual Run that can be completed solo or in small groups at your convenience during the month of April!

We are going to offer 3 OPTIONS for you to move forward with your registration:

OPTION 1: Join us for the Superhero Showdown Virtual Run (NO ACTION REQUIRED)

If you wish to join us for the 1st Annual Virtual Superhero Showdown your registration has already been moved to that event. Look for a email on April 1st to announce that the event has started. With a follow up email that will direct you how to post results!

What is a Virtual Run?
A virtual run is a walking/running event that you can complete anytime/anyplace! The best part of a virtual event is convenience - you decide what works best for you.

This is an event that will last from April 1st-30th! Pick a day or weekend to get outside with your kids and dress up as your favorite Superhero or Villain! Don’t forget to post a selfie on our Facebook Page when you have completed your run. Tag Skinny Raven Sports and use #SuperHeroShowdown!

Once you have finished your event you will be able to Submit your result online. You can do this throughout the month of April. How do I post my results?

We will be having a Packet Pickup in the beginning of May for Shirts and Swag! Packet Pick-Up days will be announced at a later time.

OPTION 2: DEFER YOU REGISTRATION TO THE 2021 EVENT (ACTION REQUIRED)
If you cannot join us for the Superhero Showdown Virtual Run you can defer your registration to the 2021 event, and there will be no additional fee associated with this.  To do this email timing@skinnyraven.com and we will transfer your registration to the 2021 event, and look forward to having you join us. There will be no additional fee associated to defer. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this process! Stay healthy!

OPTION 3: REQUEST A REFUND (ACTION REQUIRED) 

We hope that you will choose to join us for the new date, however we understand that may not be possible. 

Follow these steps to request a refund:

*AFTER APRIL 1ST, 2020 YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT timing@skinnyraven.com TO RECEIVE A REFUND!

Refunds will no longer be processed after the conclusion of the event on April 30th, 2020.
