SIU Law Motion to Strike 2020- Virtual Event 2021

Short review

In the most favorable light, 2020 has been less than ideal.  For many of us it has been physically, mentally, and emotionally draining.  Luckily, we are in a brand-new year, and we are trying to be optimists.  Let’s start 2021 by putting ourselves in motion (see what we did there) to prioritize our health and support our law students by contributing to and participating in SIU School of Law’s Motion to Strike 2020 fundraiser.  

We encourage you to “put yourself in motion” in any way that is meaningful to you.  While the traditional understanding of “motion” is likely a movement like a walk, run, or bike ride, we also value that some folks need the forward motion of seeking peace in their daily lives or focusing on healthier eating habits.  

For your $25 registration, you will support the valuable services that the School of Law provides to our beloved Saluki students and the greater-Saluki community.  In addition to the health benefits that come with committing to putting yourself in motion, you will also get a pretty rad “Motion to Strike 2020” short-sleeve t-shirt that we hope you proudly wear everywhere to show your Saluki pride.  

Sounds great, right?  YES!  How do I sign up???  Can I sign up with a bunch of my friends???  It’s really straightforward: you complete the registration, you put yourself in motion to take back 2021, and you look forward to the moment in March when you get your sweet swag.
