Date & Starting Time: Saturday, January 23, 2021 the 5k race will begin at 8:15am. The 1 mile fun fun/walk will start at 7:45am.

 

7:00 a.m. - Race Day Registration and packet pick up begins.
7:45 a.m. - Dog 1 mile fun run
8:15 a.m. - Ready, Set, GO! 5ks
9:15 a.m. - Post race awards!!
Post Party: We are known for a great post party with food, music, beer, games and prizes.  
REGISTRATION:
Human 5k - Early Registration is $25 through Friday, January 22nd. Race day Registration is $30. **Registration for this division is for Humans only. No dogs in this division, you run by yourself. You will get a cool Run Like An Animal shirt with your registration**
Dog/ Human 5k - Early Registration is $30 through Friday, January 22nd. Race day Registration is $35. **Registration for this division is for those that choose to run the 5k with your dog. You will get a shirt and your dog will get a cool Run Like An Animal Bandana! There will also be a special award for the overall dog/ human 5k winner**
1 Mile Dog Run - Early Registration is $25 through Friday, January 22nd. Race day Registration is $30. **This is just a 1 mile race with your dog. There are no results for this division. Registration for this division does not include the 5k** Lazy Dog Supporter - Early Registration is $25 through Friday, January 22nd. Race day Registration is $30.**This division is for those that don't feel like getting off their dog bed to run! You get a shirt but you don't have to get out of bed or break a sweat to earn it.**
REGISTER EARLY! No shirts guaranteed to late registrants. You must register before noon January 15th to be guaranteed a shirt.
T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Run Like an Animal 5k” LONG SLEEVE TECHNICAL T-SHIRT!
Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum Thursday, January 21st from 12 pm- 6 pm and Friday, January 22nd from 10 am-5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.
All kids will receive a cool medal once they cross the finish line!
5K Awards: Overall Male & Female Winners of the 5k will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and $200 in cash. Additionally, 1st and 2nd place male & female in the following age groups for the 5k will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy. 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-69, 70+
Dog/ Human 5k Award: The overall winner will receive a special prize! 1 mile Dog Awards: Fastest human dog duo will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and $150 in cash. Additionally, the runner up duo will receive a custom canine bobble head trophy and $100 in cash. Special prizes for best pet/owner look alike and best costume will be given, as well as, some fun pet game prizes.   Special Pet Note: Please only bring dogs that are well-behaved around other dogs and people. All animals must be in leashes.
Proof of rabies vaccination required. (Current rabies tag on the collar is sufficient.) Female dogs that are in any stage of heat are prohibited. Dogs must be on leashes at all times (maximum 6 feet). No retractable leashes, which may be hazardous in a crowd. You must remove any of your dog's waste. Relief stations and plastic baggies will be provided.
