The 9th Annual Run From The Rays 5K Run will be held on Sunday, April 25th, at the Spanish River Athletic Complex in beautiful Boca Raton, FL (South side of Spanish River Blvd, just east of Military Trail and across from the Library) Chip timing by Accuchip Timing, 5 year age group awards 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24…80+. Top 3 overall M/F. Top 3 Masters M/F. USATF certified 5K course. Post-run, individually bagged bagels and protein bites will be provided by Palm Beach Bagel Restaurant. Finisher medals and t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 REGISTERED & PAID participants only. Awards will be made available at our AWARD TABLE as soon as all timing is completed. If you are unable to stay to pick up your award, they will be at Runner's Edge after the event.
Our Covid Safety Protocol is in place and ready for the event. Masks must be worn at all times OTHER than on race course. Masks and hand sanitizer will be made available if needed.
5K Run/Walk starts 7:00am. Runners will start in waves of 10, and be socially distanced.
Water bottles will be provided at the water stations and at the Finish Line. Please refrain from throwing water bottles and any PPE (masks, gloves) on the ground. There will be trash cans for easy disposal.
100% of the funds raised from Run From the Rays will be donated to our beneficiaries to support the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of malignant melanoma and other life-threatening forms of skin cancer, as well as keeping the all of the free sunscreen dispensers we have placed at parks, clubs and the beach maintained and filled! Past Race beneficiaries include: The Caridad Center of Palm Beach County, Melanoma Research at Moffitt Cancer Center, Dermatology Medical Missions, Inc., The Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation, The League of Ribbons at Lynn Cancer Center, The Melanoma Foundation of New England, the Boca Raton High School Swim Team, AVDA, The Fuller Center, Kindness Matters, Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope, Special Compass, and The Boca West Children’s Foundation.

$75 registration fee includes a super soft long sleeved tee ONLY for the Trilogy participants and a custom Trilogy bib!
