But how many time has that experience been 100% from physical depletion? How many times has its been due to mental breakdown and fatigue? Probably more the latter. Remember that age old adage, “Mind over Matter”? It is possible to achieve! The science of human behavior provides a wide range of research and data on changing our behavior to improve our lives. This science can be applied to improve running performance. Come learn how to use the science of human behavior to harness your mind and move toward your potential.
Functional Foods for Health and Performance: Join Stacie Haaga, RD, CLT to cover nutrition basics for optimal health and performance. A nutrition primer for individuals at every activity level.
Running Shoe Myths Debunked: Shoes have been a hot topic for debate in the running community with many well-meaning myths surrounding them. Get the scoop on footwear from someone on the inside and learn just what shoes can do to help you run farther, faster, and pain free.
Ask the Coaches Forum: This session will be an open discussion with Coach Jeremy and Coach Becky. The coaches will field questions about training, ultra-running, gear, adding strength training to your routine and more. Come prepared with questions!
Experience Triathlon!: Interested in the challenging world of multisport? Wondering on how to get started or improve? Local professional Ironman Katie Thomas Morales will provide tips on training for more than one sport, talk about gear and answer your questions about the multisport lifestyle.
