I would like to invite you to our third RUN CULTURE “5K FUN RUN” series event to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 at the Consulate of General of Mexico in Miami (1399 SW 1 Ave). As Race Director of the Life Time Miami Marathon I would like to be better connected to you as well and help connect you to other Mexicans here in Miami through running. You don't need to be from Mexico and you don't need to be a runner! The event is free and open to all.
As you might already know Mexico is one of the top 3 represented countries of the Life Time Miami Marathon. In 2019 we had over 600 runners who came from Mexico and another 1500 runners that came from within the US. We want to grow your representation for 2020 and beyond. I am traveling to the Mexico City Marathon at the end of the month. I hope to generate excitement and support at the expo there to promote the Life Time Miami Marathon.
Join your fellow Mexican runners, friends and myself for an easy conversation pace 5K Fun Run (not a race & not timed) around the Brickell/Downtown area near the consulate office. Together with the Mexican Consulate we will provide light refreshments and bites after the run. I look forward to getting to know you and gather your feedback to make the Life Time Miami Marathon one of the best events.
