Run 4 BAE 5K 2019

Short review

Run 4 BAE 5K is a virtual 5k (not for profit) created to drive positive changes in not only people, animals, but the environment as well. Profits generated from the 5K will be donated to one of three different types of plant-based organizations: Body (nutrition), Animals, or Environment (“BAE”). Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun, regardless if they are plant-based or not. Everyone will receive the joy of the event as it will be a fun experience to share with friends or family, while donating to a good cause. Everyone who submits a time will receive a bib number, as well as a medal to show off their hard work. Raffle prizes will be given out to participants as well. All updates will be emailed to participants. The Run 4 BAE 5K is just in time to show the hard work devoted from New Year’s Resolutions!

All proceeds will go to the local farm sanctuary Noah's Ark in Locust Grove, GA! http://www.noahs-ark.org. If funding allows, we'll donate to another farm sanctuary!

A virtual 5K is a great start for a beginner, or a challenge for a veteran runner to gain a new personal record. Of course, the participant is allowed to walk the distance as well since there is no time limit on the race. Feel free to complete the 5K with a group, or even your coworkers! The Run 4 BAE 5K is a perfect excuse to get outside and enjoy time with the people you love!

- Animals: Organizations that are dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals. (refugees, shelters, emergency responders etc.)

Now you may wonder, what is a virtual 5K? The beauty of a virtual race is you are not required to be at a start line before the sun comes up on a specific date. This 5K may be ran at your own leisure within the specified date range. A virtual 5K allows participants to run the distance on their own account and fit the race into their busy schedule as they please. Also, a virtual race allows a participant to run the distance multiple times in hopes of a PR, since they are not tied down to one specific date. The results will be uploaded into a platform by the specified date and announced once the race period closes.
