The Race for the Place is the largest annual fundraiser for MSU Safe Place and allows the program to continue to provide vital services to the members of the MSU and greater Lansing communities who experience relationship violence and stalking. The Race for the Place 5K course takes place on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University. Location for the race this year is at Jenison Field House. Race for the Place is a fun-filled family event, with events for kids of all ages, MSU varsity athlete participation and a visit from Sparty!!
Fee includes a long-sleeve t-shirt and refreshments after the event.Shirts are only guaranteed with pre-registration on or before March 30, 2020.
Special Group/Family pricing: Register a group/family of up to 4 for only $60! Add additional group members for $15/each!
Awards: Overall male and female finishers for the 5K, plus the top male and female finishers (run and walk) for age groups: Master, Grand Master, 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
