The 1st Annual Prodigal Run 5k will be held on March 2, 2019, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota. This is a fundraising event for Prodigal Daughters, a non-profit organization providing a safe haven for women and their children to come who have suffered from the bondage of alcoholism, drug addiction, human trafficking, abuse, or any other life-controlling issues. Our hope is to present this event as more than just a day to race, the Prodigal Run 5K brings together families, businesses and the community to highlight the importance of standing with one another in life encouraging each other by showing compassion and love. Giving a hand up to those who have lost hope, while providing a family-friendly event with live music, food, raffles, and more. We believe that everyone can make a difference…it’s starts with one…why not start with you! 5k REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ON SITE THE MORNING OF THE RACE $35 (cash, check, or credit)
PACKET PICK-UP (Two options):
1. Fit 2 Run, University Town Center Mall (Thursday, February 28, 2019, 4-8p).
We highly encourage this to reduce the stress of getting to the starting line on time!
2. Race day morning, on-site at Benderson Park (Saturday, March 2, 7-7:45a) Event Schedule:

If you don't plan to pick your packet up at Fit 2 Run on Thursday, February 28, 2019, plan to arrive early to make sure we can process you through in time to get you to the starting line! The 5k race will be held at the Regatta Island within Nathan Benderson Park.
