Playathon is one of our most beloved traditions at New Jersey Youth Symphony because it’s the one time each year that all 500 NJYS musicians perform together. Since we can not perform a massive concert at the Mills at Jersey Gardens due to the pandemic, we will celebrate virtually on March 21, 2021 instead!
Virtual Practice Challenge
The orchestra is better when we all work together!
This year we're asking all NJYS musicians to log their practice minutes. Our goal is to log 450,000 minutes. That means that each musician needs to log 1,050 minutes (30 minutes x 5 days/week x 7 weeks)! If we reach this goal, we will unlock a challenge grant from a generous supporter to support our new scholarship program!
