Short review

Over the 2019-2020 span, World Explorers had such a great time virtually traveling the Trans-Sahara Highway/N1, from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Magadan Oblast, Russia, that we are now found twiddling our thumbs.  Many of us are not as motivated now that we are on our own.  Well, of course, there is another route we can travel.

Do you love cycling, running, walking, or rollerblading naked through the crosswalk?  Then, our team might be the right place for YOU!  We have decided to do a virtual ultra-marathon of the Pan-American Highway, almost 48,000 km / 30,000 miles!  The Pan-American route is a network of roads that start in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and from there travel south through both North America and South America until it's ending point in Ushuaia, Argentina. It's known as the longest road in the world because it connects two continents north to south. Our virtual challenge begins in Prudhoe Bay, AK and ends in Ushuaia, Argentina and will only be complete when all chip in our miles--NO ONE PERSON is responsible for this entire distance and ALL MILES count toward the team goal of 30,000 or 48,000km.

Start date will be April Fools' Day because we are all running fools for taking this on and will last for an entire calendar year.  All you need to do is log your miles by submitting as you can, at least weekly, on this event site, and our team's cumulative miles will be counted towards the entire 48,000km / 30,000 miles. Instructions will be posted on the private Facebook group, World Explorers. Slowly, but surely, we will get there TOGETHER. It does not matter if you do 20 miles per week or 200 or even 2 because EVERY MILE COUNTS!

It is free unless you decide to buy a mug or a groovy t-shirt. What do you get?  Motivation, inspiration, and maybe even some really cool new friends.  Are you in?!?
