Over the Rainbow Virtual 5K 2021

Help us celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the Over the Rainbow Virtual 5K on March 13, 2021! Races are currently not able to be held normally but virtually you can still run, post your times, and enjoy the thrill of a race!

With a Virtual Run, you can run anywhere or even on a treadmill! Runners or walkers of any age can participate. You can run or walk at your own pace any time during the day on March 13.

Some great locations to complete the race in Statesville are the Statesville Greenway/Soccer Complex, Mac Anderson Park, Oakwood Cemetery, the Statesville Historic neighborhoods, or any location that is convenient for you. If you choose to use a treadmill and do not have access to one, you can use the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center treadmills free of charge on March 13.  Just check in at the front desk upon arrival to the facility.

This race is a great way to go outdoors and get moving. This a fun run to run/walk at your own pace. If you wish to submit your times for the run, you will have that option available to see how your time compares to others.
