Olmsted Spirit 5k 2024

Short review

Welcome back to the 2021 Olmsted Spirit 5k! Since 1998 the Olmsted Spirit 5k Run/Walk has been part of the Olmsted Community and we are happy to be back in person for our 23rd year!

Our Mission:

To bring together the Olmsted and surrounding communities for a fun morning of physical activity.  We are excited to welcome you back to a live, in-person event!  For many years now the goal of this event has been to use the proceeds to award scholarships to Olmsted Falls High School Seniors who have volunteered and given back to the community they grew up in!  This year we have also decided to split the proceeds and donate half the proceeds to local businesses in the Olmsted Community.  2020 was a tough year for all of us in some way.  Together, we will make a difference for this amazing Olmsted Community!  

We will all start the run/walk together!  No heats!: 

This year our run/walk will start at 8AM!  Our Kids Fun Run will start AFTER the 5k run/2 mile walk.  Everything will be outside this year.  We will start and finish the run/walk in the Olmsted Falls High School front lot by the Board of Education building.  The Kids Fun Run will also stay on the school premise for their safety.  

Registration: Adult Registration: $20 now until the day of the event $25 on the day of the event Kids Fun Run Registration: $10 now until the day of the event$20 on the day of the event

**T-shirts are not included in registration.  There will be an Olmsted Spirit Merchandise Fundraiser in March.  We will also have shirts available for those who registered and purchased one for 2020's cancelled event.  

Race Route:

We have updated our race route for our 2021 event only.  Go to our website, www.olmstedspirit.com, click on "5k run/2mile walk" tab then click Race Route in the drop down menu to view the new route!

Overall and Age Group Winners:

This year awards will be presented to the Top Female and Male Overall and Top Female and Male in the Tactical Vest Divison Only.  However, the first 400 people who register will receive a unique Olmsted Spirit Medal!  

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up

There will be race day registration and packet pick-up in front of Olmsted Falls High School from 6:30am-7:45am.  Race Day Registration will cost $25 for adults and $20 for the Kids Fun Run.  Registration does not include a t-shirt.  

Olmsted Falls High School Access

This year we are holding everything outside including post-race festivities.  However, the outside bathroom attached to the high school will be available.
