Join us for Lenoir Parks and Recreation’s first night trail race!! Hit the trails behind the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center for a challenging 9k (5.5 mile) race. HEAD LAMPS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS! The race will start and finish at the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center. Start time will be 7:30 pm with check in from 6 – 7 pm. When: OCTOBER 24, 2020 Time: 7:30 pm Start & Finish Location: LENOIR AQUATIC AND FITNESS CENTER, 1031 JIM BARGER DR. NE., LENOIR NC 28645 Awards: will be given to the top 3 male and female overall winners. Age group winners: 1st, 2nd, 3rd in 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ will receive medals. On Friday, October 23rd from 2 - 6pm, packet pick up will be available at the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center 1031 Jim Barger Dr. NE, Lenoir, NC 28645! In order to receive a race shirt on race day, you will need to have registered by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15th. If you register after OCTOBER 15TH you will still receive a shirt but it will be a few weeks after the race. Trail Marking: Designated race course will be marked by colored reflective arrows/tape. Whenever possible, mile markers will be present along the course. This race takes place on multiple surfaces, including natural surface trails over uneven terrain. As such, race distances and mile markers are approximate. Your personal mileage may vary. Trail Safety: Headphones, iPods, MP3 players, etc are strongly discouraged. Remain attentive and courteous at all times. Communicate when passing other trail users. No pets allowed on the course. All participants are required to carry/wear a light source.
