Mon Valley Dye Hard Challenge Run 2019

Short review

Mon Valley School is a Special Education School operated by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. The school provides a wide range of special education programs and services including:  K-12 classes,  Autistic Support, Blind/ Visually Impaired    Support, Deaf/Hearing Impaired Support, Life Skills Support, Emotional Support, Physical Support, Speech/ Language Support, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Community Based Instruction, Transition Services, Social Work Services, Nursing Services, and Vocational Training  Opportunities. Come support Mon Valley School, a school with opportunities and have fun rising to the challenge. The dye hard challenge run is a predominately cross country run with asphalt start and finish. Explore the outdoor classroom and trails at Mon Valley traversing steep hills, wooded trails and potentially muddy conditions. The kids fun run is a one mile run/walk on asphalt and is wheelchair friendly. Attendees at both events will be  doused with color at various stations. After running/walking stay and enjoy face painting, Chinese auction, refreshments and live DJ.
