Short review

Welcome to the 1st annual Missoula Nordic Clinic hosted at the University of Montana's Lubrecht Experimental Forrest.  This will be a one day event for nordic skiers of all abilities.  Skiers will be grouped by ability and goals based on a series of questions at registration.  Each group will be paired with two local coaches (1 female, 1 male).  I'll hand select coaches for each group based on the ability and goals of the group.  We'll re-group at lunch (bring a sack lunch) and then head out for an afternoon session/adventure ski with your group.  At the end we'll come together for closing ceremonies around the fire pit, hand out some fun awards and reflect on the day.

WHERE: Lubrecht Experiment Forest,  38689 MT-200, Greenough, MT 59823. 25 miles outside of Missoula to the East on Hwy 200.  You take the turn off the highway and go left at the split.  You'll come to a parking area on your right, where the main lodge is.  That's check in, bathrooms, and clinic HQ.  Around 9am, walk the 200 meters down to the "champions loo" and pavilion.

WHEN: January 9th, 2021.  Check in begins at 8:30am, introduction talk will be at 9:15am, and then officially in your group and skiing by 9:30am

WHO: For the first year we are capping the clinic at 50 skiers, 5 groups of 10 skiers a piece with 2 coaches per group.  This clinic will be designed for all abilities.  Whether you are just starting and have never skied or you are a top 20 Missoula Area Skier.  Every skier will take something away from the clinic.  The registration page asks a series of questions, so we can place you in the appropriate group.  Group names/focus are subject to change based upon survey results but right now the plan is; RACE SKATE, REC SKATE, BEGINNER SKATE, RACE CLASS, BEGINNER CLASSIC
