Some housekeeping items….
CDC guidelines have recently changed regarding mask wearing however the state of NJ has not changed its mandate for masks when social distancing cannot be achieved. Long story short, we are bound to follow the executive order and can be fined if our pizza-loving friends do not comply. This means: Masks in registration/packet pick up areas and common sense social distancing, etc.
GPS and Nomaheagan Park.
If you have an iphone, it will send you to a different part of the park with a baseball field and a few parking spaces. THIS IS NOT THE START. You want to use the UNION COUNTY COLLEGE entrance.
Parking is limited on location so we recommend arriving with time and carpooling. The county college across the street has been notified of our event but we do not encourage you to park theret. Many users of the park use this lot but we do not have written permission to use it.
Course:
Course will be marked with teal markers. There will be a gun start.
Results will be posted in the early evening on 5/16.
Join us for the first-ever Pizza Run 5K. Come back to running and enjoy a beautiful course with good food. We hope to give you a race that is fun where family and friends can join in a safe enviroment. Finisher's Medal to all participants!
Amenities:
Pizza Themed Finisher's Medal, Shirt, a slice of pizza catered by our local pizzerias, and a well-marked course.

Our mission at Live Run Give LLC is to create fun, food-themed events and while giving back to Breast Cancer Charities. Portion of proceeds will benefit METAvivor:

METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. At the time of METAvivor’s founding, no organization was dedicated to funding research for the disease and no patient groups were speaking out about the dearth of stage 4 cancer research. While more and more people have taken up the cry for more stage 4 research, METAvivor remains the sole US organization dedicated to awarding annual stage 4 breast cancer research.
