Lanikai 8K Run 2023

© © Lanikai 8K Run

Short review

Start at the Lanikai Monument on the hill entering Lanikai, then two counter-clockwise loops of the Lanikai Bike Path with the finish near the Lanikai Boat Ramp. Update: The race start and finish is being altered but the route is basically the same as previous years. An updated course map is on this site. The race will start in Kailua Beach Park using a wave start format where runners are at social distance for the start. During the registration process you will be assigned to a corral (wave) for the start. A timing mat will be used at the start so you will get an accurate finish time regardless of your start position.  Parking is available in the Boat Ramp area as well as in Kailua Beach Park. If you order a shirt for the race, it will be available on race day at the registration tent. Shirts must be ordered by July 19th. There is no separate packet pick-up, get your bib number on race morning. Facial covering is required before and after the race but not while running. A wave start will be used to maintain social distance. There will be separated lanes at the finish line to maintain social distance. No results will be physically posted on race day. Results will be available online at timelinehawaii.com.  Only Top male and female awards will be presented at the race.  Age group award winners can pick up their award at the Running Room, 819 Kapahulu Ave., after the race.
