Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K 2018

Short review

San Diego's newest half marathon returns for its 2nd year! The point-to-point course starts at the newest Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center and finishes at the Vacation Isle in the heart of Mission Bay to join the 5K finishers. The 5K loop course starts and finishes in Mission Bay.

Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K encourages the San Diego community to "Thrive" together: Stay Active, Eat Healthy, Live Well and Give Back.

Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon and 5K is pleased to partner with Make-A-Wish San Diego for this event. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Half Marathon- Point to Point: 
Start Line Locaiton: The Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center (9455 Clairemont Mesa Blvd)
Start Time: 6:45am 
Finish Line Locaion: Ski Beach in Mission Bay
*There will be a shuttle option for purchase from Mission Bay to the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center the morning of the event.

5K: 
Start and Finish Line Location: Ski Beach in Mission Bay 
Start Time: 7:30AM

Kids Fun Run: 
Start and Finish Line Location: Ski Beach in Mission Bay 
Start Time: 9:30AM

Finish Festival: 
Location: Ski Beach in Mission Bay 
Expo Hours: 8AM-2PM

All participants will recieve an exclusive race tee, finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
