Cardinal John Foley School Advent Adventure Virtual 5K and Family Fun Walk 2020

Short review

It has been a crazy year and we had to think of a fun and crazy way to bring the year to and end as we could not hold our usual Turkey Trot!  So, join us beginning on Thanksgiving Day and continuing through Sunday December 20th (The last day of Advent) for a virtual 5K and Family Fun Walk!

You will be able to run your 5k on any course you like in case you are not in the area or you have a favorite 5K course of your own.  

This will be a virtual race with two separate 5K courses: *The first "St. Denis route" begins at the St. Denis Cemetery (across from Cardinal John Foley School), goes to Annunciation BVM, and back to St. Denis. 
*The "Annuciation route" will start at Annunciation B.V.M. and run to St. Denis cemetery and back to Annunciation BVM.

You will be able to run your 5k on any course you like in case you are not in the area or you have a favorite 5K course of your own.

If you wish to have your time considered for an award, you must track your run. You can use the official RACEJOY app (download below) or you can manually enter your time into your registration (using your own run tracker).

All proceeds for this event will be benefit the students at Cardinal John Foley Regional Catholic School which is committed to the education of the whole child, integrating the teachings of Jesus through everyday life enriched by sacraments and virtues. As a community of lifelong learners, we are committed to providing a challenging curriculum program by developing skills for the 21st century and service opportunities supported by parental involvement and by living our core values of: Faith, Mercy, Integrity, Cooperation, and Respect.

All registration will be online and there will be no in-person or mail-in registration due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Costs:
Per Person: $25 
Family Rate: $65 - limit 5
10 and Under: $15 - at any time

Awards: Overall Runners (female and male): Top 3

Age Group Awards: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over 

Top Teacher and Top Student!!!!

Amenities:
T-shirts available for all registered runners/walkers and will be delivered after the race.
Post-race refreshments include light snacks and hot/cold beverages at your house with your family!

Timing:
RACEJOY and your watch/Garmin/other GPS watch!
