Hope's Legacy's 4th Annual "Hoofin' It For Horses" 5k Trail Run/Walk and Open-House 2021

Short review

Come and join Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue's 4th Annual 5k trail run/walk! Participants will experience the beautiful terrain of Castle Rock Farm, the home of Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue. This race welcomes participants of all fitness levels from walkers to the more experienced runners. All registration fees will directly benefit the horses and donkeys of Hope's Legacy, a 501(c)(3) charity that's been rescuing equines since 2008. 

There are now two ways to Hoof It:  Virtually - at your convenience and your location.  Or join us at Castle Rock Farm on Race Day. 

Hope’s Legacy will be holding a public Open House from 10 AM - 2PM following the Hoofin’ It For Horses run. Runners are welcome to stay on the property, meet and learn about our 4-legged friends, and take advantage of the food trucks, vendors, a tack sale and educational programs.

Every effort is being made to make your Hoofin' It experience a pleasant and safe one.  Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue is following all COVID-19 restrictions mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, including mask protection and social distancing. We welcome your participation in the our 5K, however, if restrictions increase, your registration for an in-person race may be converted to a virtual one.  We will contact you as soon as possible if your race status changes. 

All participants are encouraged to wear costumes for the race!

Please leave your four legged companions at home; dogs can stress out and scare our horses.
