Race Day Activities

Race Day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:00 AM at the Downtowner. The race will begin at 8:00 AM. The 5K course will start and end at the Tex Americas entrance on Highway 82. The course should have little traffic. The course will be well marked and will have mile markers at each mile. Runners are responsible for knowing the course. A map of the course is available by email on request. For more information about the course or race day events, please email the administrator.

Additional Location Information
The Hornet Swarm 5K Run-Walk-Slumber will start and end at the Tex Americas entrance at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 82 in Hooks. Registration will take place from 7am-7:50am at the Downtowner, 2 West Avenue A, Hooks, TX (on the northeast corner of Main Street and Highway 82).

Awards:
Awards will presented shortly after the conclusion of the race in the Downtowner parking lot. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female finishers in the following categories: 10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Up.
