Short review
Known as the perfect trail running course for veteran runners wanting a 100mile P.R., as well as the perfect race for rookie ultra runners wanting a good setup to accomplish their goal. Expect frequent and incredible (known around the world) aid station support all day and night. Generous cut-offs. A fun atmosphere for family, friends, and awaiting crew members with 5 x 20 mile beautiful loops around the lake, over wooden bridges, and through the tall pines. Gently undulating trails on a bed of pine needles. Don't let the name fool you, you don't have to worry about rocks on this course, but keep your eyes on the tree roots grabbing at your feet.
$1,000 to anyone who breaks the male or female fastest known time for 100 miles on trail.
[current FKT = Male, 12:08:36, Zach Bitter (Tunnel Hill) / Female, 12:42:41, Camille Herron (Tunnel Hill)]
While every racer will get some cool swag, December 6 is the deadline to get a shirt. If you register after December 6, you will get some cool Race Swag! This could be a variety of items like a trucker cap, neck gaiter, etc. It will be a cool Swag Item!
