DUE TO COVID - WE HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL THE HIPPIE DASH 5K THIS YEAR.

PLEASE JOIN US MARCH 5, 2022. SEE YOU ALL THEN! 

Walk up Registration begins at 8:00am.

The Hippie Dash is a 5k fun run/walk that raises awareness and funding for people with disabilities. Far out dudes, hip chicks, flower children and funky fidos are invited to don their best 70s attire as they move and groove their way through a psychedelic 3.1 mile course around James Island County Park. Runners, walkers, children and pups of all ages are encouraged to participate. The Hippie Dash is all about fun, friendship and supporting a good cause. Proceeds from the Hippie Dash will increase awareness and funding for services to people with disabilities through the programs of Palmetto Goodwill.

EVENT AT A GLANCE

WHEN: Saturday, March 13, 2021  (This is a Rain or Shine Event)

TIME:    8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Registration

             9:15 a.m. Hippie Dash 5K Start

REGISTRATION: Early Registration until January 17, 2021 - $30

                             After January 17, 2021 - $40

                             T-shirts guaranteed with registration by January 17th. After January 17th, T-shirts are only available while supplies last.

                             Student/Senior Registration is $20 (Does Not Include T-shirt)

WHERE: James Island County Park at the Stono Shelter

Packet Pick Up: March 12- 10am to 4pm at Palmetto Goodwill (2150 Eagle Drive, Bldg. 100, N. Charleston, 29406

                            Second Location - TBD

                            Bibs will also be available at Registration the morning of the run on March 13th beginning at 8am.

FUNDRAISING

Fundraising prizes will be awarded for the most money raised by an individual and team. Ask family, friends and neighbors to share in your fundraising by making pledges.

 PRIZES & FUN

Runners and walkers are also encouraged to visit their local Goodwill store to put together a 70s-inspired outfit.

Prizes will be awarded for: Best Dressed Dude, Best Dressed Dudette, Best Dressed Flower Child, and Best Dressed Pooch

Top 3 Fundraising Team to reach $2,500

Top 3 Fundraising Individuals to reach $1,000

Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers

And TOP male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
