Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Run 2021 2024

Short review

The DCNR has given us permission to go ahead with March 2021 planning with te expectation that numbers will come down and restrictions will be reduced. Those two facts are dependent on everyone pitching in, doing their part to reduce the chances of spread.

Our COVID mitigation plan will remain the same as our fall 2020 marathon races:

     Field size will be greatly reduced

     Masks will be required until you cross the starting line and as soon as you cross the finish line.

     Toilet doors will be propped open and a blind system will be built. You will walk around a wall to get in to the toilet

     Participants will be seeded by expected pace time and start individually.

     The Spiral of Death will not be used in 2021, The course will be a true out-and-back, turning around at the two mile mark

     We will not have food prepared on site. For  we will be giving you a “Do-It”Yourself” Griiled Cheese and Tomato Soup kit, including your mug.

     Due to the smaller field size we may alter the age group awards brackets to reflect the actual field makeup

500 finishers GUARANTEED  a ceramic soup mug (Last year we had 452 finishers)

All finishers receive a soup mug, a cup of tomato soup and a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches
