Green Bucket Run (5k) 2024

Short review

Previously known as the Kirk in the Hills 5k, the Green Bucket Run is a scenic Bloomfield Hills fall run beginning at Kirk in the Hills along Kirkway Road and around Island Lake. Proceeds benefit Accent Pontiac

There are two options for the race this year in an effort to follow COVID-19 guidelines and accommodate your personal comfort level.

1. The In-Person Run. The in-person run takes place outdoors on the Kirk in the Hills 5K course, Saturday, Nov 6 at 9AM. To see COVID-19 restrictions click here

2. The Virtual Run. The virtual run option allows you to participate in our Green Bucket Run, and support Accent Pontiac, at the time and location of your choice (neighborhood sidewalks, running tracks, trails, etc...). 

Both options give you the opportunity to support Accent Pontiac and be active outside!

It is a 3.1-mile, USATF-certified 5K course beginning at Kirk in the Hills to the sound of the church bells ringing, following Kirkway Road in a fall tour around Island Lake. USATF Certification Code: MI19027MN
