Race Description/Details:
How does the event support Easter Seals UCP?
Easter Seals UCP is the host of The Great Glow Run 5K race.
100% of proceeds go directly to support programs in Craven, Carteret, Pamlico,
Jones, Onslow and Pitt Counties, benefiting our local communities.
• Money is raised through registration and promotional sponsorships.
• SPONSORS help offset the costs of hosting the event and contribute to the overall
experience of our participants.
• TICKET SALES for registration allow runners the fun and excitement of being part of the
experience, while also contributing to a local community cause that they care about. Benefit & Impact
• Easterseals UCP is a community-based non-profit, and a lifelong partner to children,
adults and families overcoming disabilities and mental health challenges.
• Easterseals UCP provides a broad range of supportive services: foster care and
adoption; inclusive therapeutic child care facilities; in-home therapies for youth and
families; supported employment training and placement; independent living supports;
mental health treatment, crisis intervention; and more!
• Easterseals UCP works side by side with children, adults, and families who are
managing disabilities and mental health challenges. We serve as a nurse, a therapist, a
social worker, a job counselor, a teacher, a psychologist, a caregiver, and a
compassionate friend all rolled into one.
The mission at Easterseals UCP is to help individuals with disabilities
live, learn, work and play in our communities.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
For the 5K from now until March 23rd, 2019 registration fee is $15.00 for military and $25.00 general public.
March 24th until April 11th fee is $25.00 for Military and $35.00 for General Public. 
April 12th and 13th Fee is $40.00 for everyone

Kids Fun Run is $15.00

Help us get the word out about the race and earn cash! When you sign up, you will receive a unique referral link. Simply share that link with your friends and you can earn a refund. If 3 people sign up using your link, you'll receive a $15 refund. If 5 people sign up using your link, you'll receive a $30 refund (not to exceed the amount paid). It's that easy!

Packet Pickup:
Friday April 12th  2019  - Early packet pick-up and  registration will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Easterseals UCP office located at 2801 Neuse Blvd. New Bern, NC 28562.

Saturday April 13th 2019 – Registration for Kids Fun Run and Great Glow Run 5K opens at 5:00pm at Union Point Park 210 East Front St. New Bern, NC.
