Girls on the Run Palm Beach Fall/Winter Season 2019

Short review

Character, Confidence, Running, Fun! Girls ages 9 - 14. Mondays: 5 PM - 6 PM, 20 lessons starting October 28 - March 9, 2020.

More encouraging than a sport, and more activities than running, this engaging enrichment program combines physical activity with youth development. The non-competitive program inspires girls to take charge of their lives and define the future on their terms. 

The curriculum includes three parts: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the world at large. Over the course of the program, guided by trained coaches, girls develop and improve competence, feel confidence in who they are, develop strength of character, respond to others and themselves with care, create positive connections with peers and adults, and make a meaningful contribution to community. 

The season includes activities designed to a make heart, body and mind connection. Program includes a community service project of the girls' choosing and a celebratory 5K run at the end of the season.

5K event will be held on March 7, 2020 at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton.
