Run for Ukraine 5K Run and Kids Fun Run is a charitable event organized by Utah Ukrainian Association, a non-profit organization. The 5K run starts at 9 a.m. on June 1 at Millrace Park, Taylorsville. Runner registration starts at 8 a.m. The kids fun run will start right after the adult run, around 10 a.m. Adult registration includes T-shirts, bibs, snacks, refreshments and medals for the top three runners in male and female categories. Kids registration includes bibs, snacks, refreshments, medals and free frozen yogurt certificates. Adults can sign up online or on the day of the event. Kids can be signed up as part of online adult registration or on the day of the event. Adult registration is $20 by May 18 or $25 after. Kids registration is $10.

The Cause

For the last four years, Utah Ukrainian Association has been focusing on assisting children's homes, women's shelters, and families of fallen soldiers in the war in Eastern Ukraine. The proceeds from the event will go toward these charitable causes.

Stop by our silent auction. Volunteer your time for the race: email [email protected] to do so. Bring your family for the fun run and other children's activities. Have your organization provide an in-kind donation to the race or the silent auction: email [email protected] to do so. Donate to Utah Ukrainian Association through this page.
