2022 Fast Cat 5k/10k, 10K Relay and Kids One Mile 2022

We are excited to race with you again in 2022!

Join us for the 11th Annual FastCat 5k/10k and one mile kids run!
Celebrate 11 great years of racing with us on April 2, 2022 at Plainfield North High School. NEW CERTIFIED COURSE for the 10K ! This is a fast, flat USATF certified course that benefits the Plainfield North High School Track and Field team.  Note that FastCat is the track team's only fundraiser! 
 
Event details:
FastCat will take place rain or shine!  All runners registered by March 17th will be guaranteed a technical event T and goodie bag. After March 17th ~T shirt is based on availability.  Covid safety measures: * We will follow guidelines in place at the time of the event.  Dogs and strollers are allowed but we ask that they start at the back of their heat. 

Schedule:
8:00am Kids 1 Mile run
8:25am - Elite 10K 
8:30am - 10K and 5K Open and High School start

Thursday March 31 5:00PM - 7:00PM Location TBD
Friday 4/1 4:00PM - 7:00PM Location TBD
Saturday 4/2 6:30AM - 8:00AM at the Race Site

Awards Categories
5K: Top 3 Male/Female Overall, and Top 3 M/F in each Age Group (14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)
10K Elite: Top 3 Male/Female Overall.  Additionally, the Top 1 Male and Top 1 Female will each win $100. Note: To win an overall award or cash in the 10K race you must race in the Elite division.  Additionally, elite runners are not eligible for age group awards.
10K Open: Top 3 M/F in each Age Group (18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)
10K Relay: Top 3 Relays Overall.
Kids: Top 3 Boys Overall and Top 3 Girls Overall.

Results
Participants who opted in will receive a text message with their time shortly after crossing the finish line.
