Falcon Color Fun Run & 5K Race - NEW DATE T.B.D. 2020

Short review

Come out to West Henderson High School on Saturday, March 28 for the second annual Falcon Color Fun Run & 5K race! 

We will begin registration at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Those registered online will need to pick up a race bib. The 1-mile fun run for students 12 and younger will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 5K race will begin at 9:15 a.m. The 5K is open to runners and walkers! The fun run will stay on the track and the 5K will follow a mapped loop on West Henderson's campus. There will be West Henderson athletes running at set paces to help younger runners (Paces: 6:30/mile, 7:00/mile, 7:30/mile, 8:00/mile, 8:30/mile, 9:00/mile). We will be throwing color powder at runners as they go by. All are encouraged to wear white and end the race with a new Falcon-inspired tie dye. Please wear old sneakers and shorts/pants. All participants will be coated in color! The color will wash off the body and out of hair with water and soap. We will have instructions on how to preserve the color on the day of the race.

Those interested can also register the day of the race!

Prizes will be given for the fastest female and male in each age category (12 and under, 12-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up). There is a rumor that the Falcon mascot will be making an appearance. Come on out for a day of fun. Spectators are welcome!
