Erin's Run 5K - POSTPONED FOR 2020 2020

Short review

ANNOUNCEMENT: the Erin's Run team has decided to postpone this year's event altogether. The decision was ultimately an easy one and we wish all public health officials and medical personnel wisdom and strength in the days ahead. We will all gather as a community once again to run, walk, and celebrate the life and legacy of Erin Woolley when this has passed.

For those of you who have already registered for this year's Erin's Run, you have four options:

A full refundDefer registration to Spring 2021Donate your registration fee to the Erin's Run organization 

A message will be going out to all those who are currently registered to share these options in greater detail including the process for obtaining a refund.

We are grateful for all of the support Erin's Run has already received in 2020 including from our major sponsors Beal College, First National Bank, Harnum Holdings, and Darling's. We will continue planning for 2020 and hope to see you all soon. Be well.

The Eighth Annual Erin's Run is presented by Beal College and will take place on Sunday, April 19th. OCTOBER 25th!!! Erin's Run is an annual 5K road race and walk in memory of Bangor native Erin Woolley.  The race raises money for the causes that were important to Erin, including Partners for Peace (formerly Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance), the University of Maine Swimming & Diving Program, the aquatics program at the Bangor YMCA, and a scholarship at Bangor High School.  Since its inception in 2013, Erin's Run has contributed $89,000 (100% of race proceeds) to these local non-profits.  Erin's Run is a volunteer-led organization.  

This year's event is taking place on SUNDAY, April 19th OCTOBER 25th at 9:00 am.  The 5K race will start and end on the Bangor Waterfront as usual.  There will be a free Kids 1K run immediately prior to the 5K (the Kids Run will begin at approximately 8:45 am; there is no need to register for the Kids Run - just show up!).  Registration for the full 5K is open now and costs $15 until March 1st, at which point the registration goes up to $20.  Please register today!
