Chesapeake City Crab Dash 2022

Short review

Corrigan Sports introduces its newest race in its local running series.  Chesapeake City is at the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay and arguably the blue crab capital of the world.  And what better way to celebrate this fact than with a race that features running, beer and crab treats-- hence the Chesapeake City Crab Dash!

This race offers a 10K and 5K that starts and finishes in the center of town at the charming Pell Gardens Park and runs along the scenic shores of the C&D Canal, currently the busiest canal in the United States, and the third most-used canal in the world. Chesapeake City is a pocket-sized town that has come to life welcoming visitors to artsy boutiques, galleries, antique shops, restaurants, Victorian B&B’s and a wealth of history to discover. It remains one of the best kept secrets to the Free State's general population.  

Participants will be treated in typical Corrigan Sports style with a quality Under Armour premium and finisher's medal plus a fun and festive post-race party featuring beer, crab balls, crab soup and other seafood delights.  Afterwards, plan to take in the local shops and visit one of the many outstanding local crab houses.
