Carmel Marathon 2019

Short review

The 9th annual Carmel Marathon weekend features a marathon, half marathon, 8K and 5K on a scenic and fast course through suburban Indianapolis. The half and full marathon run together for 13 miles along city streets and paved trails. Both distances include pacers, frequent hydration stations and cheers from area residents and run clubs. 

The celebration grounds at the start/finish and mid-way point for the marathon includes a DJ-powered party, craft beer garden, and numerous local vendors.

In 2017, the race saw more than 22% of it's finishers achieve a Boston Marathon qualifying time. In 2018, that number grew to roughly 24%. The marathon's 6.5 hour time limit makes this a great first-time race, as well as a walker-friendly endeavor.
