Byron Rocks 5k & 10k 2025

Short review

The Byron Chamber of Commerce and Power Combat Fitness of Byron are bringing back Byron Rocks 5k & 10k!  

Let's be healthy and support our community!  How?  Well, the Byron Chamber of Commerce exists to support Byron and its surrounding area.  Byron Rocks 5k and 10k is just that.  We need your help, as a fitness guru, leisure runner, or a beginning runner.

Put a team together of 4 to 10 people and receive $5 off of registration!  All members of your team must be doing the same event.  5k is $35 per person.  10k is $45 per person.  Kids 12 & under are 1/2 price.  Spectating is free!

Byron Rocks 5k and 10k is intended for people of any fitness level.  Whether you are running your first 10k, striving for your personal best, or enjoy a little competition this event is for you.  This event will be chip timed.  As previously mentioned, this event is intended to support the Byron Chamber and Byron Community.  It is also intended to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles for everyone.  So please join the Byron Chamber of Commerce and Power Combat Fitness Saturday, May03, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to be healthy, support our special community, and have some fun!

Awards will be as follows:  5k & 10 - Overall male and female winners.  1st, 2nd, & 3rd for male and female age categories:  15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over.     

Please contact the Byron Chamber of Commerce at office@byronchamber.com or (815) 234-5500 with any questions or comments.  The event will be held Saturday May 03, 2025.  Registration and check-in begin at 7:00 a.m. and run/walk start time is 8:00 a.m.  Registration, check-in, start, and finish will be located in the Byron City Hall Parking Lot, 232 W 2nd Street, Byron, IL 61010.  

*Must register by April 14th to receive Byron Rocks t-shirt.
