Winter is over! Get outside, take in fresh air, and have fun with others. All participants who see “Bigfoot” in the woods, and take his photo will be entered to win one of five great raffle baskets.

YMCA Camp Onyahsa. Please arrive by 9:45am.

Bigfoot 5K Course

Rough trail with steep inclines at trail start) decline (at trail end), potentially rutted with loose gravel, seasonally muddy and slippery, wooded and marked path. Not paved. Tough run in our 160 acre forest, 5K

Bigtoe Course (2K):
Flat, wooded trails, no incline but uneven terrain for non competition walkers only. Easy guided walk, on our main lakefront campus, Friendly dogs on leashes welcome. 2K.

Entry Fees:

5K Runner/Hiker Entry Fee:$25/runner (includes long sleeve T)
2K Walker Entry Fee:$15/walker (includes long sleeve T). No charge (or shirt) for youth under age 10 who are accompanied by an adult.)

Closes at 11:59pm on 4/23.

Divisions
Women's and Men's, ages: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Bigfoot Awards

Medals to first 3 overall male & female runners. Age group awards to top three finishers in each division. To maintain social distancing, awards will be given at the conclusion of each event.

Hike and Walk Awards

No trophies since these are not competitive events, but here is an opportunity to enter the raffle drawing at 11:00am.

Shirts
Registrations must be made by April 15th to guarantee availability at the event. Please give size at online registration.  Shirts will be distributed at the end of the events.

Covid Protocols:
The 5K is a timed event. Runners will be launched in waves. Masks and social distancing must be maintained by all participants except on the trail run. Walkers must remain socially distant from participants from other households. Spectators and walkers are advised to carry umbrellas if rain is forecast.

Parking

Route 430 is closed near the Camp, which will allow vehicles to carefully park on the shoulders and (limited) in the Camp. Please follow our parking attendants.
No vehicle arrival after 9:45am. Runners will cross Route 430 near the start and finish.
