AORTA Tough Ten & Tough Two 2021

Short review

Registration is $35 for the ten mile and $25 for the two mile.

$5 discount will be offered for participants registering for both the Cancer Event to Remember and AORTA Tough Ten / Tough Two

Register by Oct. 5th to be guaranteed a tee shirt. Registrations received after Oct. 5th are NOT guaranteed a tee shirt. ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:59pm ON TUESDAY, 10/19. After that you may register during packet pickup which is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 at the Spencer Cancer Center, 2501 Village Professional Dr. Opelika, AL 36801 between 12-2 or 4-6  or on race day starting at 6:30am. Registrations on Friday, 10/22 and Saturday, 10/23 are priced at a rate of $45 for the 10 mile and $30 for the 2 mile. The race will take place in the rain, but in the event of thunderstorms the race will be cancelled. No refunds will be given as all proceeds are donated to the East Alabama Medical Center's Foundation for Breast Cancer Early Detection. 

Run, jog or walk a scenic 10 mile or 2 mile route through the moderately rolling hills of Auburn, AL. Strollers and dogs on leashes welcome and encouraged. All proceeds are donated to the East Alabama Medical Center's Foundation for Breast Cancer Early Detection. Additionally, the Tough 10/2 race is in honor of Nick Holler, dedicated runner and community leader. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male/female runners and to the top male/female in each age group (19 & under; 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ ; For the TOUGH TWO, Top Three finishers. 

There will be race number/packet pick up FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 at the Spencer Cancer Center, 2501 Village Professional Dr., Opelika AL 36801 between 12-2 or 4-6.

Multi-Race Bundle: This year we have partnered with The Cancer Event to Remember, a month-long exercise challenge during October to raise money for The Robert and Marjorie Goodson Oncology Wellness Program (OWP). The OWP provides massage therapy and exercise training sessions to patients of The Spencer Cancer Center to provide comfort and help improve health outcomes.

The  Both organizations feel passionately about promoting health and wellness in our local community. As an incentive to sign up for both The Cancer Event to Remember Challenge and the Tough 10 / 2 race, every participant will receive a $5 discount to each event when signing up for the multi-race bundle. To participant in both events in the multi-race bundle choose one event from AORTA's Tough 10/2 and one event from The Cancer Event to Remember. Options for the AORTA Tough 10/2 include a 10-mile run or 2-mile run on October 23, 2021. Options for The Cancer Event to Remember include a 600-minute cardiovascular challenge, 400-minute flexibility challenge, 400-minute strength challenge, and a 1000-minute exercise challenge for the entire month of October.
