ADNP Kids Research Foundation's "Virtual" Warrior Fun Run 2024

ADNP Kids Research Foundation is hosting the SECOND Annual "Virtual" WARRIOR FUN RUN. This event is a 2k! Individuals can choose to run, walk, or simply join a team and cheer on all warriors from the comfort of their home!

The official race day kicks off on July 31st and will continue through end of day on August 1st! This will allow participants from around the WORLD to complete their Run/Walk in honor of ADNP Syndrome!

This is a THEMED fun run! We encourage participants to dress up as their favorite WARRIOR and get moving in honor of ADNP! Dressing up as a warrior / super hero is OPTIONAL!

All participants are encouraged to share their Warrior Fun Run photos on social media! Please use the following hashtags #adnpkids AND #adnpfunrun so we can cheer on all of our WARRIORS across the GLOBE! If you can't run/walk, we'd also love to see you doing something FUN (i.e. splashing in a pool, going for a bike ride, baking cookies, drawing your favorite WARRIOR).

Race Bibs and Warrior Challenge Coins will be included with registration(restrictions apply), see Giveaways section below for more details!

Individuals will have the option to purchase a 2021 ADNP Warrior T-shirt in our Store. Please visit the "Store" tab on the left hand side for more details. Only a PORTION of the proceeds raised by T-shirt sales will go to ADNP Kids Research Foundation. If you want ALL of your donation to strictly go to ADNP Kids Research Foundation, please click Donate on the left hand side of our main page for further details!

Giveaways and merchandise in the shop will only ship within the United States. Please understand that our ultimate goal is to collectively raise funds for ADNP Kids Research Foundation and allow for continued research, such as the Ketamine Drug trial occurring at Seaver’s Autism Center at Mt. Sinai, NY!

During the registration process, there is an option to create and/or join a team. We encourage ADNP Warriors to create their own team, allowing family and friends to rally together and raise funds as a team! Prizes and/or gift baskets will be awarded to Teams who meet goals set forth by the race committee!

For US Based Teams

The team with the MOST money raised will win a Safety Sleeper from Abram’s Nation! Abram's Nation is one of our TOP sponsors and has provided several of our ADNP children with a safe sleeping environment through the Safety Sleeper! We are excited to partner with them! Please note, upon registration for the Warrior Fun Run, Abram's Nation will send promotional emails to registrants to engage participants in various products/ opportunities within their company and within the special needs community! 

The following categories will win gift baskets! Gift basket contents are subject to donated items received by race day. Gift baskets will be shipped after race day to Team Administrator!

International Teams will receive ADNP Swag based on the amount their team raises! Shipment of items will occur after race completion and will be shipped to team administrator! If teams raise the following amounts, the below items will be awarded to team:

$1,000: 10 ADNP stickers, 10 ADNP bracelets, and a $50.00 Amazon gift card!$5,000: 20 ADNP stickers, 20 ADNP bracelets, team photo posted on social media, and a $100 Amazon gift card!$10,000: 40 ADNP stickers, 40 ADNP bracelets, team photo posted on social media, and a $250 Amazon gift card!

There is no obligation to join a team! Participation can be done on an individual level!

We will have sponsorships available for ADNP Families who may need assistance registering - please reach out to our Race Committee for further guidance!

COVID-19 Guidelines: We ask that all participants respect their state and/or local health department's guidelines on gathering and choosing a location to run/walk. Remember, this is a VIRTUAL event and can be performed in your very own neighborhood or home!

Our ADNP WARRIORS need help from real super heroes(YOU!). Please consider joining our virtual 2K or donating to the ADNP Kids Research Foundation! All funds raised during the ADNP Warrior Run will go towards our first clinical drug trial.
