9th annual 9-11 Hero Run

Come join us in honoring the victims of the 9/11/2001 attacks by helping raise money for first responders and military veterans. This is the 9th year of this successful fun family event, organized by the Delhi Twp. Fire Dept., Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, and The American Legion Post 238 and supported by local businesses and you!

The following fantastic local organizations will be the beneficiaries of this years event Great Lakes Burn Camp, Gary Sinise Foundation, and Hundred Club of Greater Lansing. To learn more about their great work click on their name. Consider donating and earn a FREE entry - details below.

Pricing: $25 until September 5th (includes t-shirt), then $30 (t-shirt available as supplies last).

Course: Memorial Gardens start, run thru the bays of Delhi Fire Dept., south on Aurelius, thru subdivision and finish in Holt Plaza at the 9-11 Memorial.

Packet pickup information: Friday September 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm @ Delhi Fire Department Bays 2704 Aurelius Rd. Race day starting at 8:00am to 8:50am at Delhi Memorial Gardens.

Be sure to register early; race day registration cannot be guaranteed.

Race starts at 9:00 am. 9/11 Presentation by Fire Chief Brian Ball at 8:00 am.

Participants will receive Dri-fit t-shirt. Register by September 5th to be guaranteed a t-shirt, supplies available as they last after that date.

Awards: Award to overall and master winner. Medals to top 3 places in age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and on this website.
