Virtual! 37th Annual Harp and Shamrock 5K Run and Competitive Walk 2023

Short review

The Harp and Shamrock 5K Run and Competitive Walk has been rescheduled and will be held as a virtual event on September 26, 2020. Our original plan was to hold the event in June, then September, but with so much uncertainty surrounding the COVID Pandemic, we finally determined that holding the event virtually was the safest way to proceed with the event.

Runners will have from 8:30 a.m. Friday, September 25 – Midnight Sunday, October 4th to complete a 5K run and post a time for the event. You will be able to post your times here, just go to the results button and add your time.

Packet pick-up
We have scheduled two times to try to space out registrants.  Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Hub MRKT, 1203 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78210. 

Come to either packet pick-up, and you will be able to get your Guinness/Harp/Smithwick’s pint glass and a Guinness before you finish your run!

If you were previously registered and choose not to run virtually, we will happily transfer your race entry to March 2021. 

Your other option if you choose not to run - you may donate your entry fee to the Harp and Shamrock Society.  In exchange for your donation, you still get a tee, pint glass, and Guinness for what you could have finished by stopping by either of the packet pick-ups!
